Yes, Dan Fan really is his name, although he now goes by his fob name, Yu-min Fan. I knew him as Dan so I’m referring to him as Dan.
He asked me for a photo shoot and my first thought was, you’re not a pretty girl. Not even close. But I did the shoot anyway. In fact we shot at where we first met, the place where he drove his Kia through a bush on a parking lot island.
This must have been one of my fastest shoots. We shot for probably less than an hour, and editing took me also less than an hour despite his zits. Honestly I sort of half-assed this project because he’s not a pretty girl, but I think it turned out fine. We also shot so fast because it was over 80 degrees outside and we were starting to get drenched in sweat.
