Wedding photography sucks

I’ve been de­bat­ing with my­self lately about whether or not I should try to be­come a wed­ding photo­grapher (as in mar­ket my­self as a wed­ding photo­grapher and make that my pri­mary thing), and I’ve come to a de­ci­sion: hell no. I’d use a dif­fer­ent four-​​letter word in­stead of hell but not for this blog. (Hi Mommy, Daddy!)

There are too many things I don’t like about wed­ding pho­tog­ra­phy. The only rea­son I even con­sid­ered it is the po­ten­tial for a sta­ble in­come. To be hon­est, wed­ding pho­tog­ra­phy an­noys me. Not wed­dings. I’m okay with wed­dings. But wed­ding pho­tog­ra­phy, ugh…

Mission Man — Part 3

Here’s the third Mission Man comic strip, which in­tro­duces Freshman Boy to the se­ries. Like Mission Man, he wasn’t cre­ated by me. He was an­other char­ac­ter from MSJ lore that I de­cided to in­cor­po­rate into the comic. I think I saw him dur­ing a school assembly.

Aiyouweiya was one of my AOL Instant Messenger screen­names at the time. I don’t know what it means ex­actly, but it’s some­thing that a Chinese per­son some­times says when some­thing un­for­tu­nate hap­pens. (Like if you ac­ci­den­tally kicked the foot of a ta­ble with your pinky toe.) And it should be spelled aiy­oweiya, with­out the u.
