Fred Dumpling Halloween

My scary sister, Fred Dumpling. Photo shot at my forest studio in Massachusetts. Happy Halloween!

EARTHQUAKE!!!

A magnitude 5.6 earthquake just happened in my area! The epicenter was about 7 miles east of Milpitas, so maybe 10 miles or so from Fremont (where I’m at). Don’t worry. We’re fine. We’re all fine, here, now, thank you. How are you? Wooh that was fun.

Update: The San Jose Mercury News article says the “preliminary magnitude estimate was 5.6, making it the most powerful quake to hit the Bay Area since Loma Prieta, Oct. 17, 1989.” I remember the Loma Prieta quake. I was a little kid, and my mom and I ducked and covered under a glass table. Yeah, I know.

Halloween shoot with Genevieve

I have no idea how to pronounce Genevieve. I just call her Genn (like “Jen”). Since Halloween is coming I wanted to do a shoot that was somewhat scary, or at least non-pretty. Genn was really cool about it. She showed up and did snarling faces for half an hour. What a trooper.

I was playing around with colors and effects and she ended up looking like a Night Elf from World of WarCraft.

And then she caught on fire.
