The MacBook Pro so far

So far my MBP has been a won­der­ful desk­top re­place­ment. I used to use a PowerMac G5 and a MacBook, but now it’s just the MacBook Pro. This got rid of a lot of the clut­ter on my ta­ble. Take a look. Click the pic to enlarge.

Yes it is an im­prove­ment. Trust me. The down­side is I have to un­plug a bunch of ca­bles when­ever I want to take the MBP some­where, and I do that pretty of­ten. I got it down to six ca­bles by us­ing a USB hub and daisy chain­ing my ex­ter­nal dri­ves. Check it out.

I se­ri­ously hate wires.

Not all is well though. For the past sev­eral days I’ve been get­ting the Gray Screen Of Death. It’s like Windows’ in­fa­mous Blue Screen Of Death, ex­cept it’s gray and ac­tu­ally looks kinda cool. It’s hap­pened five times al­ready, for­tu­nately never while I was do­ing some­thing important.
