I was out with Bob and Ken last night and we happened to be near LeMans Karting in Fremont, so we went to check it out. There was only one race left, and it was the Sunday Night Heats, and it was to begin in 5 minutes, and the blonde chick behind the counter was pretty, so we each shelled out $60 and joined the race.
It was fun and we all got a good workout, but man we got pwned. There were about 25 drivers total, and none of us made it to Top 10. Some wannabe touge masters we are. We did make it to the Semi-Finals, but so did everyone else, including the middle age lady everybody was lapping.
After that we came back to my place, which is the worst place to hang out. Take a look at the picture. We sat on the floor and had Jack in the Box on cardboard boxes (Bob: “I feel poor.”) and watched a movie on my laptop. A long movie. I think each of us fell asleep at some point.
Sadly last night was the highlight of my weekend.
