Remember I said people here in China are hardcore about Chinese New Year?
Dude, they shoot up fireworks right next to buildings, right in between buildings, right from the balcony, wherever there’s empty space overhead. We’ve all seen fireworks but it’s something else at close range. Inside the building you can hear debris hitting the windows and see burn marks. And outside, watch out for tipped over packs of fireworks! Fire hazard? Maybe, but who cares? It’s Chinese New Year! Time to blow things up!
