I’m subscribed to way too many blogs (69 currently, not intentionally). Funny thing about that is I absolutely hate reading. Always have. Every time I pick up a book, my eyes get tired and I want to sleep.
But I have no problem scanning through blogs because I can just read the stuff I like and skip the garbage posts. Everyday Google Reader feeds me 100+ new blog items from my subscriptions, and they’ve been teaching me a few things.
First, celebrities are funny as hell. The lives of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton really shouldn’t matter to me, but they’re just so entertaining! And Edison Chen is my new idol. Here are two very similar and hilarious celebrity gossip blogs: The Blemish and The Superficial.
Second, I’ve learned that, despite my attempts to change, I’m still a geek at heart. And not the good kind that knows C++ and starts up companies in their parents’ garage. I’m the kind that sits on his ass all day playing World of WarCraft and watching anime. (For the record I stopped playing WoW a long time ago, and I just started watching anime very recently!) The best geek blog I know of: Topless Robot.
Third, China is fascinating, and not in the ancient civilization way that pops into Westerners’ minds. Hot topics in China right now include a Photoshopped tiger that government officials at some town insist is real, and, of course, Edison Chen’s celebrity sex scandal. And if you still think China is behind the times, look up My Hero and Super Girl, American Idolesque crap that prove that China has indeed caught up in the degradation of society. Check out Danwei.org and Shanghaiist.com.
That’s enough for now.
Look at the specially made video, he didn’t really mean to make an apology, what he is doing is trying to get rid of the trouble for the future when the starlets are going to sue him for money as he is careless about keeping the photo as showing off to his friends. here’s a hot debate over his video:

And now the photo of his current girl friend Vincy Yeung is leaked too, what do you think? Everyone says Edison is in a deep trouble… that’s why he had to leave Hong Kong ASAP.
I’m not even sure if that video was an apology. And if he was to apologize, personally I don’t think it needs to be public. The only people he needs to apologize to are those girls, and who knows maybe he already did. I don’t feel he owes the public an apology. In fact the public owes him a big thank you. But anyway, I do agree that the video was probably made to ward off, or at least soften, impending lawsuits.
