well I thought of piss when I looked at the walls myself… and what’s wrong with a black and white filter over the walls and sheets? they certainly aren’t the focus

when I have to fix something I try to make it look as natural as possible, keeping skin tones intact for starters, and make adjustments accordingly to bring out the focus, adjusting the white balance can make the skin tones appear off so other things need to be adjusted as well, blacks, saturation, brightness, exposure, contrast. this may be your choice, but I personally hate having the flash plainly visible like that in my photos.
I also think you could stand to take out some of the noise… pixelations can create distortions or dicoloration in my experience
@fcc you should get your monitor checked out. colors look fine over here.
@fcc – Classic… Kid, let me give you some advice. Instead of being an internet troll, take your camera out and actually shoot some photos. Try different methods, both while shooting and in editing.
Don’t take advice from amateurs in online forums, even if they call themselves professionals. If all you do take photos the way that the self-proclaimed “professionals” tell you to, yes you’ll have proper white balance, your blacks will be absolute blacks, whites be absolute whites, “bokeh” on every portrait, and your photos will be as technical and boring as theirs. You should take photos for creativity and fun, not for the sake of tweaking them to what you’re told they should be, or else you’ll just be one among the herd.
Kid, you’re looking at photos of half-naked girls shot with a point-and-shoot, and yet you’re thinking about pixel noise and white balance. You’ve already been brainwashed. First step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.
lol seriously?? who gives a shit about pics about half naked girls? sure some people get off on it, but hey, I’m not gonna say its right or wrong. Technical skill shouldn’t be pushed away like its a waste of time, and NOBODY tells me how to tweak my photos, I “tweak” based on what I like, and what I think looks nice, piss colored walls don’t look nice, a woman who’s willing to let pics of her in her bra and panties doesn’t look nice, but that’s my personal opinion. though I do have to say, I have no respect for a point-and-shoot, they simply don’t have the level of control I use, but again, my personal opinion.

@fcc — You might want to reread your last comment. And do share with us your examples of using black and white filter for white balance, or other samples of your work. That is if you actually know what you’re talking about.
