Day 133: I hate my bathroom

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK! MY BATHROOM WREAKS! I don’t even know what that smell is! It used to be just shit, but now it’s like shit plus piss, jizz, barf and roadkill all blended into vapor that has spread into my entire apartment.

It’s definitely from the bathroom because the smell is 10 times stronger in there. I can’t stay there for too long because I feel like the odor would get attached to my hair and my clothes, and stay in my lungs. In fact I DO feel it in my lungs, and my throat, but I don’t know if I’m just imagining.

For the record, my bathroom is totally clean! An ayi comes once a week and she does a fantastic job. I don’t make a mess either. I’m definitely getting some kind of spray tomorrow, though it won’t help much.

I’ve notified the guy I’m supposed to notify and I think he said he’ll look into it the next time he’s in my area. When the hell is that gonna be.

I’m gonna start brushing my teeth in the kitchen, with a brand new toothbrush. I should evacuate the towel too.

  • are you living on the first floor of a tall apartment building? foul smelling gas could be a composite of the whole building coming down to your floor and it might come from the drains as well.. get someone to sort it out.

  • 3rd floor in a 7-floor building. I did ask someone to look into. Just don’t know when it’ll happen.

  • GL getting that smell gone… bathrooms were never a top priority on making clean there.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s bacteria or pipe problems.

  • maybe it smells like glas kat =P

  • Try plugging holes through which odors can travel. For example, that drain in the floor, at your two o’clock when standing as you are in the pic. Plug it with something that will seal it, like putty that you can remove. Try also plugging the sink drain. It makes sense that if bugs can crawl out a drain into a sink, so could stink. Does that toilet have a tank, or is it pressurized? Look in the tank. A cobra may be in there crapping in the water. Be careful.

  • Wow great ideas Einstein, why didn’t I do any of those? Oh wait, those were the first things I did. Odor’s probably coming thru the ceiling vent. Leaving the fan on for a couple hours seems to clear the smell until the upstairs neighbors take a dump again.
