Looks like I’ll stay in Shanghai after all. Today I start working for a magazine publisher. More importantly, the office is in ridiculously close proximity to one of my favorite restaurants in Shanghai, Pier 39!

SmartShanghai says it’s a 10-minute walk from Line 1 South Shanxi Road. It’s actually 10 minutes from Line 2 West Nanjing Road also. From Line 2, just head south on Maoming Lu and turn on Jinxian Lu.

I am in the final 2 weeks of this semester sleeping 5 hours every day. Actually i’m in a small town in upstate new york.
No idea how long I’ll be here really. Just hope I can visit home often. Not sure if once a year is enough for me. Good luck with school!
